Kubernetes vs. Serverless: Cost Efficiency, Benefits and Architectural Impact
March 18, 2021
1 PM CT | 11 AM PT | 2 PM ET
From selecting databases and frameworks to identifying where and how to run applications, engineering teams face a lot of complex decisions – with significant cost and resource implications – when architecting their tech stack. In this webinar, Mux’s Matt Ward will talk about how the data and video platform’s engineering team approached these decisions as they considered their own technology and infrastructure decisions, and why they went all-in building their platform on Kubernetes.
Takeaways
Join this webinar to understand:
- Why opt for self-managed infrastructure?
- What are the costs and benefits of self-managed infrastructure?
- What is the architectural impact of opting for Kubernetes instead of fully managed serverless infrastructure?
