Serverless frameworks decouple software development from the underlying infrastructure that runs their code. It frees developers from worrying about how to run their code. Instead, they can now focus on code that serves their customers better and respond to market needs and changes faster. However, as with any “new shiny tech” not all popular use cases may be suitable for serverless platforms.
In this webinar, Mike Watson, VP of Engineering at Synerzip and Taze Miller, Partner Solutions Architect, from Amazon Web Services (AWS) will cover the following points,
Taze Miller draws from his personal experience and how these shape key concepts, which is available in the session. The methodology is applicable across organizations ranging from small startup to Fortune 500.
Takeaways
The session offers insights and tools that can be applied by an engineering leader to increase the throughput of their organization.
Additionally, we will also focus on setting new cultural values, reducing waste, and making improvements in a disciplined and sensible fashion. This is achievable without any significant change to team budgets. The end objective is to get more for the same amount of cost and effort.
Consequently, the goal of this webinar is to allay fears that managers and executives may have about transitioning to serverless. Is there a skill gap to fill? How long does it take to retrain? Are there proper tools to help reduce the challenges?
