Senior QA Automation Engineer

Pune

Years of Experience: 4 to 6 years

Role:

Sr. QA engineer will report to the QA lead. This person will be required to independently drive testing of product modules and plan test strategies with practically no supervision. Will be expected to participate in requirement analysis and release management. Will be expected to drive small team.

Must Have Skills

● Must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Test Automation using Java with Selenium -cucumber automation tool for web application.

● Ready to learn and work with new tools and technologies, processes

● Design/write automated test scripts that are reusable in existing automation framework Good to have

● Knowledge / experience of Spring boot from JAVA

● Knowledge of basic CI/CD processes

● Experience in Automation framework implementation

● Ability to write the SQL queries

● Hands on experience in manually testing

Responsibilities:

  •  Setting up of test environments, writing, organizing & executing test cases
  • Reporting and following up on defects
  • Understand new feature requirements, test cases development and verification
  • Creation of test framework, automating scripts and sending report based on the execution results
  • Create test automation scenarios based on functional specification
  • Act as a point of contact for QA
  • Client communication, Lead and mentor QA team members, contribute to trainings
  • Should be able to complete the assigned duties with minimal supervision and take complete ownership of tasks assigned
  • Acquire domain knowledge & become product expert
  • Conduct testing for Functional & Performance aspect of product QA Methodology and Process: Familiarity with Agile product development methodology will be a big plus.
  • Should have participated in QA planning from Acceptance testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, System testing perspective.
  • Should have knowledge of tools used in QA process for test case organization, bug tracking, etc.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education: BE (Computer/IT is preferred)/MCA/MCS/B. Tech
