This webinar introduces the Enterprise Agility framework for enterprise wide Agile adoption.
While Agile can produce modest gains in operational efficiency, its primary benefit comes from gains in business value creation. Maximizing business value creation requires changing how business is done and applying the principles and values of Agile throughout the Enterprise. There are many widely used Agile frameworks such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban, but these frameworks primarily contain guidance for only a single isolated team and do not provide guidance for creating an Enterprise Agile ecosystem. This session will address this problem by exploring the concept of “Enterprise Agility.” Enterprise Agility is about applying the principles and values of Agile to create an ecosystem that embraces and supports Agile throughout the Enterprise.
Participants will get an introduction to:

  • The significant potential economic benefits of Enterprise Agility
  • How to coordinate multiple Agile teams within a larger program
  • Organizational, process and mindset changes needed to support Agile
  • The role of leadership in implementing Enterprise Agility
  • Specific principles and practices for applying Agile to the Enterprise

Damon Poole

Damon Poole, Agile Coach, Chief Agilist at Eliassen Group. His twenty years of experience spans the gamut from small collocated teams all the way up 80 team shops doing global development. Damon was President of Agile New England from 2008-2010. He writes frequently on the topic of Agile development, is the author of the web book “Do It Yourself Agile,” and a pioneer in the area of Multistage Continuous Integration and mixing Scrum and Kanban.
