Dallas, TX. – December 15, 2018 – Since its inception in the year 2004, Synerzip offers software co-development expertise for small to mid-sized companies in a high growth phase. Agile is truly embedded in Synerzip’s DNA. Synerzip applies the Agile and Lean Startup principles across verticals within the company, its clients, and partners.

Hemant Elhence, CEO and Co-Founder of Synerzip mentions, “In today’s world, where most companies are a tech or software company, Agile is quickly becoming mainstream – the default best way to build software! The agile values and ways of working are accepted as a better way to run a business and have become the ‘operating system’ for a company.”

Building software with geographically distributed teams has become an accepted reality—often a requirement—in order to get the right skills needed to build the best product.  New technology trends like Cloud, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery lend themselves well for geo-distributed teams. With today’s ever-evolving technology advancements, employees can work easily and effectively from any corner of the world. There is a much higher demand for software talent than supply in the US, thus necessitating the need to tap into the global talent pool. Moreover, most modern companies value diversity in the workplace…which is echoed by Synerzip. All these positives give Synerzip a unique stature in the market, as it is well positioned to leverage these trends and deliver as expected!

Synerzip works as a logical extension of every clients’ in-house software team. This helps in merging the two teams as one and work truly as co-development partners. This also brings up the required technology expertise, with increased flexibility of scaling the software development capacity to accelerate technology roadmaps and ensure cost advantage of a dual-shore delivery model.

Today, most companies face the challenge of following the traditional waterfall approach while superficially using Agile and Lean Startup concepts. Synerzip enables their clients to be truly Agile by following core agile practices like market validations and set out certain assumptions and hypotheses, to better understand users and customers, before building the full-scale software. Next, it helps its clients deal with the constantly evolving technology landscapes by being their solution partner and helping them choose the right technology. “We have an inherently deep learning culture that allows us to keep up with newer technologies, and better development and delivery practices. In this process, we constantly deliver higher business value to our clients, while also improving our in-house skills and capabilities. This is a win-win for both – employees and clients,” says Elhence.

In Synerzip’s culture, clients are the most dominant axis of focus. For every client, a team is assembled, tailoring to their specific needs, including technology skills like front-end, back-end, test automation, and functional mix including Product Owner/Manager, DevOps, UX, etc. Synerzip continually evolves this team-mix to serve the clients’ changing technology priorities and roadmap. “For most clients, we follow a 2-week sprint, using good Agile practices – including backlog grooming, proper sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives,” explains Elhence.

Synerzip also tailors Agile practices for each stage of the product development life cycle. For example, an early-stage startup where validating product-market fit is the priority, Synerzip focus on the speed of delivery ensuring time to market is met. On the other hand, if it is a later stage product, the company prioritizes software quality and thus stability & performance over speed of new feature delivery.

Synerzip worked with Austin Ventures portfolio company Credant Technologies for their full-disk encryption software products. In this case, client security was a key consideration. Synerzip set up a separate, almost a bank-vault-like team environment in their Development center in Pune, India, to ensure a robustly secure team and network. In 2012, Credant had a successful exit with Dell and since then, Dell has continued as an active client.

Recently, Synerzip expanded its geographic footprint to Mexico – offering a closer time zone coverage to the U.S. From a technical standpoint, Synerzip continues to expand its technology capabilities, covering Artificial Intelligence, including ML and NLP, Data Analytics, Cloud Enablement, DevOps practices, UX Design, Microservices-based API, Cloud-native architectures, as well as Blockchain and Smart Contracts.
